The picture on the left is of my mothers' family in the mid 1930's. My Aunt Marion (bottom left) and I rediscovered it recently. My mom is in the center, and my Aunt Josephine on the lower right. The picture on the right is of my moms' graduation of Junior High School in 1947 (age 15). Both photos were taken in Brooklyn, NY.
I completed restoration of this photo in 1998. It was taken in Sicily (probably the town of Alimena) on the occasion of my maternal grandparents wedding in January 1925.
This is a photo of the Alimena "skyline". I don't know when it was taken. I restored it recently.
I'll still have more photos in serious need of restoration, which I will add later.

Tony and I have known each other since elementary school, and we went to the same high school, Brooklyn Tech. While college students we drove around the USA during the summers of 1975-76 in Tony's 1967 Oldsmobile. Although we have both moved from New York, we still keep in touch and visit occasionally. Tony is a high school science teacher in South Carolina, and you can e-mail him at amatoa@anderson1234. k12.sc.us. The picture on the left was taken at Tony's wedding in 1980. I took the picture on the right during my 1997 trip.
Ira is another old friend from New York. We got to know each other in junior high school, and stayed friends through high school (he also went to Brooklyn Tech) and college. We did a lot of traveling together in the 1980's. This picture was taken in Ixtapa Mexico in 1984. Ira still lives in the New York metropolitan area. Sam is a friend from Cooper Union. We were both engineering students, but Sam went on to medical school, and now has a practice in New Jersey. On the left is a picture of Sam, me, his brother Robert, and his friend Rich. This picture was taken at Club Med - Turkoise in the late 1980's. Interestingly, Sam met his wife Eve on a subsequent Club Med vacation.
Randy is a former co-worker at Chevron and NGC. I have known Randy since 1987, when we worked together in Chevron's Oklahoma City office. The picture on the left is Randy and Shanna at the September 1988 Oklahoma City Christmas Party. Yes - that's right a Christmas party in September! Since Chevron had announced they were closing our office, we used the funds for a somewhat early party. Fortunately, Randy and I both got jobs in Houston.
