I based my model on the drawings in Bellona Print #10, with details taken from Hundleby/Strasheim. I have the basic parts to make the three main variants of the armored version of the A7V - Standard 18-bolt, Roechling 31-bolt and Krupp multi-plate. I have parts for both main gun mounts (bocklafette and sockelafette). My intent is to model all of them eventually, including the gelaendewagen unarmored transport version. It’s just a matter of painting them.
Note that the "numbers" apply to the chassis only. The armored upperworks could be removed and installed on different chassis. The upperworks don't have unique numbers. This could get a bit confusing. Also, the 20 armored A7V's comprised only 3 units at any one time, and individual tanks served in different units at different times, and were marked and camouflaged differently at different time, as well.
